Southbend will provide an additional 1 year warranty on water related issues when a 1190861 or 1190862 filter system has been installed.

Water supply to Southbend steamers must be within these general guidelines:

• Total dissolved solids: Less than 60 PPM
• Total alkalinity: Less than 20PPM
• Silica: Less than 13PPM
• Chlorine: Less than 1.5PPM
• PH Factor: 7.0 – 7.5

Water, which fails to meet these standards, should be treated by installation of Southbends 1190861 or 1190862 Comprehensive Water Treatment Systems. Check with your local water treatment specialist if you are not sure of the water quality in your area.
